TUYET TINH COC - TRANG AN - MUA CAVE
Duration: 01 day / Transport: Car / Departure: Daily
Detailed Itinerary:
07:00-07:30: The car and tour guide pick up guests in the Old Quarter area and at the Opera House, then depart for Ninh Binh.
10:30: Arrive in Ninh Binh, transfer to Tuyet Tinh Coc – considered a fairyland in ancient times and now a green oasis separated from the outside world. Guests freely climb 205 stone steps to reach Am Tien Cave and Am Tien Pagoda halfway up the mountain. The cave resembles a dragon’s mouth and is also called Dragon Cave. Inside are many stalactites shaped like rice plants, coins, Buddha’s hand fruit, lotus buds, and dripping water. Am Tien Pagoda is where Queen Dowager Duong Van Nga practiced Buddhism and spent her final years. From the pagoda, guests can see a clear green lake known as Ao Giai, surrounded by rocky cliffs, creating a paradise-like landscape.
Note: Tuyet Tinh Coc is a free photography site; the guide will only introduce the destination and assist with ticket purchase. Guests take photos freely according to the schedule.
12:30: Lunch at a local restaurant.
Afternoon: Visit:
Trang An Ecotourism Complex – where limestone mountains, valleys, and rivers intertwine to create a mystical, magical landscape. Guests enjoy a boat trip and explore 4 natural caves among the most beautiful in Trang An: Lam Cave, Vang Cave, Thanh Truot Cave, and Dai Cave. Guests also visit spiritual sites such as Suoi Tien Temple and Vu Lam Royal Palace. This route is perfect for young travelers and photography enthusiasts, providing a full experience of boat cave exploration and capturing beautiful memories.
Walk along winding paths covered with greenery and stunning rock garden architecture, then conquer Mua Cave Peak with 500 stone steps. From the top, guests can admire the vast Hoa Lu landscape, peaceful yet magnificent like a watercolor painting. On the way down, pass through a lotus pond area among limestone mountains, creating a poetic ancient-style scenery. Guests may rent traditional costumes for photography here.
17:00-17:30: Depart back to Hanoi.
19:30-20:00: Arrive in Hanoi. End of tour. See you again!
