06:45–07:15: The Limousine transfer bus will pick you up at designated meeting points in Hanoi’s Old Quarter and near Hanoi Opera House, departing for Ha Giang.
Note: For guests arriving in Hanoi early in the morning or the previous night, pickup can be arranged at Noi Bai International Airport or at hotels in the Dien Xa area near the airport. An additional fee of VND 50,000 per group applies for airport pickup.
Lunch: Enjoy lunch at your own expense at a rest stop along the way.
13:30: Arrive in Ha Giang City and check in at your hotel to relax.
Afternoon: Your tour guide will take you to visit Ha Thanh Cultural Village, where you can learn about the customs, traditions, and daily lifestyle of the Tay ethnic community living around Ha Giang City.
18:30: Enjoy dinner. In the evening, explore Ha Giang City at your leisure.
Overnight in Ha Giang City.
07:00: Your vehicle and tour guide will pick you up for breakfast before beginning the journey to conquer the Ha Giang Karst Plateau. Along the way, stop at the following attractions:
Ha Giang Kilometer Zero: Stop for photos at this iconic landmark marking the starting point of the journey through Ha Giang.
Bac Sum Slope: Take photos and admire the scenery along this approximately 8-kilometer mountain road.
Quan Ba Heaven Gate: Photograph the iconic Fairy Bosom Mountains, also known as the Quan Ba Twin Mountains, and enjoy panoramic views of Tam Son Town from above.
Lung Tam Linen Weaving Village: Discover the traditional linen-weaving culture of the H’Mong people and learn about the 41 stages involved in producing handmade linen products.
Note: The road to Lung Tam is a local intercommunal route that may deteriorate or become damaged. If road repairs are underway or heavy rain makes the road unsafe, this stop will be omitted for the safety of the group.
The Lonely Tree in Can Ty, Quan Ba: Stop for photos at this famous tree along the new Quan Ba–Yen Minh route.
Lunch: Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, continue sightseeing:
Tham Ma Pass: Discover the winding mountain pass historically used by local people to assess the strength and endurance of packhorses.
Pho Cao Village: Admire traditional H’Mong houses surrounded by distinctive stone fences.
Chin Khoanh Pass: Travel along this famous winding mountain road.
Sung La Village (Lung Cam Cultural Village): Visit a traditional H’Mong earthen house featured in the 2006 Vietnamese film The Story of Pao , directed by Ngo Quang Hai and adapted from Do Bich Thuy’s short story The Sound of the Lip Flute Behind the Stone Fence . The film won four Golden Kite Awards.
Vuong Family Mansion (Hmong King’s Palace): Located in a valley in Sa Phin Commune, this historic residence belonged to one of the wealthiest and most powerful families in the Dong Van region during the early 20th century. Learn about the architecture, history, and cultural heritage of the Vuong family, also known as the Hmong King’s family.
Lung Cu Flag Tower: Visit the iconic national landmark at Vietnam’s northernmost point.
18:00: Arrive in Dong Van Town and check in at your hotel. Enjoy dinner and relax.
In the evening, your tour guide will accompany you on a walk through Dong Van Old Quarter, a historic area that has stood for nearly a century. You may enjoy a cup of coffee at the Old Quarter Café at your own expense.
Overnight in Dong Van.
Morning: Enjoy breakfast at a local restaurant. If your visit falls on a Sunday, you can explore the famous Dong Van Sunday Market, where H’Mong, Dao, Tay, and other ethnic communities gather in colorful traditional clothing to trade local goods.
08:00: Check out of the hotel and continue the journey to:
Ma Pi Leng Pass: Conquer this spectacular 16-kilometer mountain pass connecting Dong Van and Meo Vac. It is widely regarded as one of the most beautiful sections of the legendary Happiness Road.
Tu San Canyon: Admire the magnificent canyon, also known as Ma Pi Leng Canyon or Nho Que River Canyon. Located approximately 1,500 meters above sea level, the canyon has an average depth of around 800 meters and features some of Vietnam’s most dramatic terrain.
Nho Que River Boat Trip: Board a boat to explore the emerald-green Nho Que River and the spectacular Tu San Canyon, one of Vietnam’s deepest canyons. The river enters Vietnam near Xeo Lung Hamlet in Lung Cu Commune, Dong Van District, flows through Tu San Canyon, and winds along the foot of Ma Pi Leng Pass.
Note: The Nho Que River boat trip and shuttle transfer from the mountain pass to the boat pier are not included. Additional cost: VND 250,000 per person.
Lunch: Enjoy lunch in Dong Van. After lunch, continue by vehicle to Ha Giang City.
16:00: Arrive in Ha Giang City. You may choose one of the following two options when booking the tour.
Option 1: Overnight Sleeper Bus to Hanoi
Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant. At the scheduled departure time, usually around 21:00, the sleeper bus will pick you up at your homestay and transfer you to Hanoi.
The following morning, the estimated arrival time is:
03:00: Noi Bai International Airport.
04:00: Hanoi city center.
The bus operator will arrange a shuttle transfer to Hanoi’s Old Quarter, Hanoi Opera House, or the nearest available drop-off point along the route, provided this is requested when booking.
Option 2: Limousine Transfer to Hanoi
Dinner is not included with this option. Transfer to a Limousine with standard reclining seats for the journey back to Hanoi.

We recommend bringing basic medication for stomach discomfort, diarrhea, colds, and fever.
Vegetarian guests are advised to bring additional vegetarian food to suit their dietary preferences.
Services not used by guests are non-refundable if the non-use is not caused by the tour operator.
The tour guide may rearrange the order of sightseeing stops according to actual conditions on each departure date, provided all scheduled attractions remain included.
For departures with 10 guests or fewer, or tours using 4-, 7-, or 16-seat vehicles, the driver may also act as the tour guide. These drivers have extensive tour experience.
