05:00: Our vehicle and tour guide pick you up at Hanoi Opera House to begin your journey in search of stunning photographs of the magnificent terraced rice fields of Mu Cang Chai.
07:00: Stop along the way for a short break. Guests may relax and have breakfast at their own expense if desired.
11:00: Arrive in Nghia Lo Town for lunch. After lunch, continue by vehicle to Tu Le. Along the way, admire the vast Muong Lo Rice Fields stretching along both sides of the road. Stop to take commemorative photos with the Mu Cang Chai District landmark at the foot of Khau Pha Pass.
13:30: Continue to conquer Khau Pha Pass, one of the four legendary mountain passes of Northern Vietnam.
14:30: Stop at the summit of Khau Pha Pass, approximately 2,100 meters above sea level. In the local language, Khau Pha means “Heaven’s Horn,” symbolizing the meeting point between heaven and earth. From the summit, enjoy panoramic views of Khau Pha Valley, with the distant villages of Lim Thai and Lim Mong. In September each year, you may also have the opportunity to watch professional paragliders take part in the spectacular “Flying Over the Golden Season” event.
16:00: Arrive at the motorbike taxi departure point for a visit to the spectacular Raspberry Terraced Rice Fields. After traveling along a steep, narrow, and winding road, you will reach this breathtaking destination, one of the most iconic symbols of Mu Cang Chai’s terraced rice fields.
Note: During peak season, to help guests manage their sightseeing time, entrance tickets and motorbike taxi services will be paid for directly by guests.
19:00: Arrive in Than Uyen Town, check in at the hotel, and relax.
20:00: Enjoy dinner. The evening is free for leisure and relaxation. Overnight in Than Uyen.
Note: This is an extended itinerary added to the standard program with an overnight stay in Mu Cang Chai. Breakfast remains at guests’ own expense, following the same arrangement as the Mu Cang Chai overnight tour.
06:00: Depart for Mu Cang Chai. Along the way, stop for sightseeing and photography at the following attractions:
Horseshoe-Shaped Terraced Rice Fields (motorbike taxi fare at guests’ own expense, approximately VND 150,000 per person).
Mu Cang Chai Bamboo Forest (motorbike taxi fare at guests’ own expense, approximately VND 150,000 per person).
Mu Cang Chai Market, a lively local marketplace selling everyday goods and regional specialties.
Stop for photos at the Shoe-Tip-Shaped Terraced Rice Fields.
11:00: Stop in Tu Le, a destination famous for its fragrant, sticky glutinous rice and the captivating beauty of Thai ethnic women, whose charm has inspired countless admirers. The tour guide will take you to explore the area and shop for local products, especially the delicious, soft, and fragrant Tu Le Green Rice Flakes (Com) at Tu Le Market. Take photos with the Mu Cang Chai District landmark.
12:00: Enjoy lunch in Nghia Lo. After lunch, continue the journey back to Hanoi.
18:30–19:00: Arrive at Hanoi Opera House. The tour concludes. See you again on your next journey!
