05:00–05:15: The vehicle and tour guide will pick you up at Hanoi Opera House to begin your journey in search of stunning photographs of the terraced rice fields of Mu Cang Chai. Along the way, the vehicle will stop for a break, allowing you to rest and have breakfast at your own expense.
11:00: Arrive in Nghia Lo Town for lunch. After lunch, continue the journey to Mu Cang Chai. Along the way, enjoy views of the vast Muong Lo rice fields stretching along both sides of the road. Listen to the tour guide introduce Tu Le, a region famous for its delicious aromatic young sticky rice, beautiful Thai women, and the local tradition of bathing in streams. Stop to take commemorative photos with the Mu Cang Chai District landmark at the foot of Khau Pha Pass.
14:00: Stop at the summit of Khau Pha Pass, approximately 2,100 meters above sea level. In the local language, Khau Pha means “Horn of Heaven,” symbolizing the meeting point between heaven and earth. From the summit, admire the panoramic views of Cao Pha Valley, with the distant villages of Lim Thai and Lim Mong. In September, you may also have the opportunity to watch professional paragliders take part in the annual “Flying Over the Golden Season” event.
15:30: Arrive at the motorbike taxi departure point for a visit to the famous Mam Xoi Terraced Rice Fields. Following the tour guide’s instructions, you can hire a motorbike taxi at your own expense; fares may be negotiated directly with the driver. Visit and take photos at one of the most famous terraced rice fields in Mu Cang Chai. Enjoy free time to photograph the shoe-shaped terraced rice fields in the Cau Ba Nha area.
18:00: Arrive in Mu Cang Chai Town, check in at the hotel, and relax.
19:00: Dinner at a local restaurant. The evening is free for leisure and relaxation. Overnight in Mu Cang Chai.
06:30: Check out of the hotel and have breakfast at a local restaurant before continuing to Sapa. Along the way, admire the picturesque mountain and river scenery of Than Uyen, Tan Uyen, and Tam Duong. The highlight is O Quy Ho Pass, one of the most spectacular and majestic mountain passes in northern Vietnam.
At noon: Arrive in Sapa, enjoy lunch, and check in at the hotel to rest.
14:00: The vehicle and tour guide will transfer you to Fansipan Cable Car Station to begin your journey to conquer Fansipan via one of the world’s most modern three-cable-ropeway systems, with cabins accommodating up to 30 passengers.
From the upper station, pass through the Thanh Van Dac Lo Heaven Gate and enter a world of clouds and mist. Bich Van Zen Monastery, located at an altitude of over 2,000 meters, welcomes visitors and Buddhist pilgrims with its traditional Vietnamese architecture, surrounded by drifting mist.
Walk to the sound of temple bells echoing through the mountains and clouds. At an altitude of 3,000 meters, admire the majestic 21.5-meter-tall bronze statue of Amitabha Buddha, standing serenely amid the mist and gazing compassionately upon the world below.
In this peaceful and sacred atmosphere, take a moment to pray and make wishes as spring approaches and new buds begin to emerge on rhododendrons, raspberries, peach trees, and plum trees. You may feel the flowers of love and hope blossoming within your heart.
From the Great Buddha Statue, follow the Arhat Road, lined with 18 serene bronze Arhat statues, each 2.5 meters tall, standing amid the drifting clouds. The path leads to the Kim Son Bao Thang Pagoda Complex, whose ancient Vietnamese wooden pagodas evoke the architectural style of the 15th and 16th centuries. Here, you can pay your respects to the Goddess of Mercy (Guanyin Bodhisattva) and visit the Mountain God Shrine.
Adding to the beauty of this sacred landscape are centuries-old rhododendron trees that withstand the cold mountain weather. By March and April, their flowers burst into bloom in shades of white, yellow, red, and pinkish purple.
Finally, after climbing 600 green-stone steps, you will reach the summit of Fansipan at 3,143 meters above sea level, known as the Roof of Indochina. Take in the breathtaking panoramic views from the summit and enjoy a deeply personal moment to reflect on your journey and make wishes of your own.
18:00: Dinner at a local restaurant. The evening is free for leisure. You may choose to enjoy a traditional Red Dao herbal bath to relax and restore your energy after a day of sightseeing (at your own expense). Overnight in Sapa.
06:30: Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and take some time to relax. You may also enjoy a morning coffee at the restaurant.
07:00: The vehicle and tour guide will pick you up for a visit to Rong May Glass Bridge Tourist Area, near O Quy Ho Heaven Gate in Tam Duong District, Lai Chau Province. The tour guide will assist you with purchasing admission tickets at your own expense. Available attractions and activities include:

Death-defying swing
Infinity bed
After visiting the glass bridge, continue across the magnificent O Quy Ho Pass toward Tam Duong District, enjoying spectacular mountain and river scenery.
Stop for photos at the Lai Chau City Monument, then travel through Phong Tho, where picturesque mountain roads create breathtaking views. Continue through landscapes that many people may know only from books, including the upper reaches of the Da River, Sin Ho District, and the Nam Na River.
The journey then leads to the center of Muong Lay, where countless traditional stilt houses of the Black Thai ethnic community stretch as far as the eye can see.
12:00: Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant in Muong Lay. After lunch, continue the journey to Dien Bien.
15:00: Arrive in Dien Bien Phu City and visit the following historical landmarks:
Visit the Dien Bien Phu Victory Monument.
Visit De Castries’ Bunker, the former working and command headquarters of General Christian de Castries. Continue to Muong Thanh Bridge and the Nam Rom River for sightseeing and photography.
Visit A1 Hill, the site of fierce battles during the historic Dien Bien Phu Campaign.
18:00: Check in at the hotel and relax.
19:00: Dinner at a local restaurant. The evening is free for leisure and relaxation. If interested, the group may request an optional dinner and cultural exchange at a Black Thai village in Dien Bien. Any additional expenses for this activity will be paid by guests themselves. Overnight in Dien Bien.
06:30: Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and check out.
07:30: Depart for Moc Chau. Along the way, the tour guide will introduce Muong Phang, a historically significant location that served as the command headquarters for the 1954 Dien Bien Phu Campaign, directly commanded by the late General Vo Nguyen Giap.
Travel through Tuan Giao District and conquer Pha Din Pass, a 32-kilometer mountain pass along National Highway 6, situated between Tuan Giao District in Dien Bien Province and Thuan Chau District in Son La Province. Stop at the summit for commemorative photos.
On the way to Moc Chau, pass through Son La City and stop for photos at the Son La City Monument and the Co Noi Junction Monument.
12:00: Enjoy lunch in Moc Chau. After lunch, continue with the afternoon sightseeing program.
Afternoon: The tour guide will accompany you to the following attractions. Admission fees are at your own expense.
Dai Yem Waterfall: Although relatively small, this waterfall possesses a captivating natural beauty. According to local legend, the waterfall resembles the sash of a young woman who saved a young man from a raging flood.
You may purchase tickets at your own expense to visit the Love Glass Bridge, the first glass bridge in Vietnam.
Next, the vehicle will take the group to Muong Sang, where you can choose to visit one of two famous attractions: Happy Land Flower Garden or Bach Long Glass Bridge, promoted as the world’s longest glass bridge.
Happy Land Flower Garden
Covering nearly 5 hectares, Happy Land is located in a spacious valley in Ban Lun, Muong Sang Commune. Visitors are welcomed by colorful flower beds featuring a wide variety of species, including flowers characteristic of Vietnam’s Northwest region.
Bach Long Glass Bridge
Bach Long Glass Bridge spans two mountains separated by approximately 285 meters. The bridge is 2.4 meters wide and features large glass panels measuring 2.4 × 3 meters.
The attraction incorporates 9D technology with 60 simulated visual and sound effects to create an immersive experience. The Glass Skywalk continues for 370 meters along a cliffside above a 150-meter-deep gorge. Two viewing platforms extend outward, each measuring 3 meters wide and 5 meters long, offering panoramic views of the tourist area and excellent photo opportunities.
18:30: Return to the restaurant for dinner. After dinner, the vehicle will transfer you to the hotel for check-in and relaxation. The evening is free to explore Moc Chau at your leisure. Overnight in Moc Chau.
06:15: Check out of the hotel and travel to a local restaurant for breakfast.
07:00: Begin the day’s sightseeing program.
Heart-Shaped Tea Hill: Considered one of the most beautiful tea hills on the Moc Chau Plateau and perhaps one of the most beautiful in Vietnam, this attraction features lush green tea bushes planted in rounded, winding rows that stretch toward the horizon. The romantic and peaceful landscape creates a memorable experience. The tea grown here is also used to produce the region’s famous Oolong tea.
Na Ka Plum Valley: Discover a pristine valley with unique and captivating scenery. During the white plum blossom season or the ripe plum harvest season, Na Ka is transformed into a spectacular landscape of extraordinary beauty. Note: Na Ka Plum Valley is visited only during the plum blossom or fruit-picking seasons. Outside these periods, the tour guide will allocate more time to other sightseeing attractions.
Moc Chau Specialty Products Center: Stop at a local center selling distinctive products from Moc Chau, particularly fresh cow’s milk products produced on the plateau. Enjoy free time to shop for gifts for yourself, friends, and family.
Moc Chau’s Seasonal Flowers and Fruits: Depending on the season, the tour guide will arrange visits to local flower gardens and fruit orchards so you can take photos and appreciate the region’s vibrant natural beauty. Please note that the availability and condition of these gardens depend entirely on the weather and local farmers’ planting schedules.
Peach blossom season: Around the Lunar New Year.
White mustard flower season: Vast fields of white mustard flowers cover the hills before and after the Lunar New Year.
Buckwheat flower season: Generally from September to December.
Strawberry-picking season: During the winter months and at certain other times of the year.
A wide variety of local specialties is available throughout the year.
10:00: Depart for Hanoi. Along the way, stop at the famous S-shaped road in Van Ho, one of the region’s popular photo spots, to admire its distinctive curves and take pictures.
Note: The S-shaped road is located on National Highway 6, which carries heavy traffic. The vehicle will stop only when the driver and tour guide consider it safe for the group. If stopping is not possible, the vehicle will slow down while the tour guide introduces the site, allowing guests to admire the road from inside the vehicle.
12:00: Enjoy lunch in Mai Chau. After lunch, explore Mai Chau Valley by bicycle or electric cart (rental fees are at your own expense).
Visit charming traditional stilt houses belonging to the Thai ethnic community and learn about their distinctive culture. Explore local brocade shops, learn about traditional Thai brocade weaving, and purchase local souvenirs.
Enjoy free time to cycle or walk around the valley, shop for local products, and take photos.
15:00: Depart for Hanoi. Along the way, stop at a Ba Vi dairy specialty shop to purchase local products and gifts for friends and family.
19:00: Arrive in Hanoi. The tour concludes. Thank you for traveling with us, and we look forward to welcoming you again!
CHILD POLICY
GENERAL NOTES
Guests must bring valid identification documents, especially for tours involving boats, trains, flights, or travel to border areas. Acceptable documents include a national ID card or passport. Children under 14 must bring at least a birth certificate. Children aged 14 and above must carry a valid national ID card or passport.
Guests are advised to bring basic medication for diarrhea, colds, and fever.
Vegetarian guests are advised to bring additional vegetarian food if necessary to meet their dietary preferences.
Any tour service that a guest chooses not to use is non-refundable unless the non-use is due to the tour operator’s fault.
The tour guide may rearrange the order of sightseeing stops to suit the conditions on each departure date, provided that all attractions listed in the itinerary are still covered.
For departures using 7-seat or 16-seat vehicles, or when the group has 10 guests or fewer, the driver may also act as the tour guide. These drivers have extensive experience and a good understanding of the route, attractions, and local culture.
As this is a mountain tour that often uses smaller vehicles, guests are advised to travel light and avoid bulky or oversized luggage. Backpacks are recommended instead of hard-shell suitcases.
Homestay accommodation may be available as an option for guests seeking a more immersive mountain experience. Guests should bring personal toiletries and other necessary items if required.
If a solo traveler cannot be paired with another solo traveler for shared accommodation, a single-room supplement equivalent to 50% of the room rate per night will apply throughout the tour.
GUEST RESPONSIBILITIES
Guests are responsible for their own health and must disclose any relevant medical conditions, including chronic illnesses (such as cardiovascular disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, and joint or bone conditions), congenital or underlying conditions, HIV/AIDS, mental or neurological disorders, and pregnancy. These conditions may fall outside the scope of travel insurance coverage. Where necessary, guests may be required to sign a health declaration before joining the tour. The tour operator shall not be responsible for cases involving undisclosed or inaccurately declared medical conditions, or circumstances falling outside the coverage of the tour’s travel insurance.
Guests are responsible for safeguarding their personal belongings at all times and in all locations throughout the trip. The tour operator shall not be liable for the loss of money, valuables, airline tickets, or other personal property during the journey.
